And the countdown continues

10 more days of school! Also on the school front, I will be going back next year part-time. I'm really excited about it, and think its going to be the best of both worlds. I'll get to be home 4-5 days a week with "insert name yet to be decided" and still keep teaching. This means time towards retirement and a little money for the extras in life. Tim started the daycare/nanny search today and I've got a few e-mails out to people in hopes that someone will be able to meet our needs.

As far as Lou is concerned, he is once again battling a stomach issue. No surprise there since we've been dealing with this for over a year now. Only difference is we no longer rush to the vet. Hopefully he'll be back to normal in a few days.

2 years ago today we got married!! Time has flown by. We spent the long weekend relaxing and doing some stuff around Baltimore. We had a great dinner at The Milton Inn.

Diabetes/sugar test is this Friday. I'll be really upset if I fail.

Amy, Kevin, and his girlfriend (Kerry) are all coming this weekend for the Sox-O's game so we're looking forward to that!

From now on...

I'll be sleeping on the deck.

Tim has decided that this will be the safest place for me. Although I still have 13 more weeks, he is petrified of my water breaking in bed, on a rug, or really anywhere. So his solution to the problem is I should just stay out on the deck.

In other news, I have 14 days left of school!!!

And Lou is getting used to the boots, he still doesn't like them, but he's acting a little less like a disabled dog.

99 Days and Day 2 of the Boots

99 Days left...yikes! So far this pregnancy has been easy, hopefully the rest goes smoothly. I wouldn't mind if things slowed down a little because time feels like its really flying by!

Well I put the boots on Lou again today. He stood there and was ever so nice while I was putting them on, no surprise. I gave him some biscuits and left him on the rug. I hopped in the shower figuring this will be a good test, see if he can get them off. Well about 6 minutes later and Lou is upstairs with only one boot on...looking quite pleased with himself. Oh well, I'll try again tomorrow.

Off to the Sox-O's game - xmas present from Jen!

Lou and His New Shoes

Tonight we bought Lou some boots. The hope is that he will adjust to wearing them and be able to go home to Milford, where MJ got new hardwood floors. New floors and Lou don't mix well. After tonight we're not so sure that he'll ever be welcome there again. The experiment did provide many of good laughs, at Lou's expense. Enjoy. And if you haven't checked out the way Lou usually acts around a frisbee, watch that video too. There is a stark difference when he's got the boots on.

22 Days Left

Yup...school's "almost" out for summer. Craziness! This year has flown by! I'm still looking for March and April...

When school does get out, I'll be about 30 weeks pregnant, and I'm in need of suggestions for what I should do all summer.

We have a few things planned, but I can't travel much after 32 weeks. So unlike last year where I spent most of my summer in-and-out of suitcases, I've gotta come up with something else to do...

Last summer I also spent countless hours on my bike, another thing I won't be able to do this summer.

So thoughts??? What should the pregnant lady do so she doesn't driver her husband nuts?

The bumps are gone...for the time being

Lou is bump free, however we hate giving him the steroids, as they make him lethargic and all around dumb. Hopefully only a few more days of a medication-induced-haze and he'll be better.

Not much else is new here. We're still trying to decide on a name. Hopefully some day soon we'll have one (doubtful). However we won't be sharing the name until after she's born.
