Uncle Dan came to visit for the weekend. And played with Tessa...
This was a cute game of "Patty Cake" until the POP...
There are no pictures of what happened next but suffice it to say there was a lot of crying, hysterically, and a call to the pediatrician... Apparently it is very easy for children under 5 to have their elbows popped out of the socket. The condition is referred to as
nursemaid elbow. We all took a quick trip down to the hospital where Tessa was born and within an hour or so her elbow was fixed. She still wasn't too happy, due to the injury and missing a nap but by the time we got home she was back to laughing at Lou. All in all it took about 2 hours and could have been a whole lot worse.
Post-hospital visit Dan feeds Tessa some bananas, while Lou watches on.
